When Zuri's mom was single, she used to go with the cutest guy in the whole rhino community, and of course, their daughter had to be the cutest thing the herd had ever seen. That is why she was named Zuri, which means "beautiful" in Swahili. This cute baby rhino was also made in honor of
a black female rhino. The black rhino is one of the most endangered
animals on the planet, which is very sad. I chose to make this one a happier
combination of colors because Funmigurumi are just fun. These kinds of rhinos only have a single calf at a time, so Zuri is an only child for now. Mom and ad think she's a real cutie and so does everyone in the Funmigurumi wild range. What do you think?
