Pull Tab Crochet Butterfly Keychain Ring

pull tab crochet butterfly keychain ring pattern

I had "retired" this pattern, but people kept asking for it, so I'm bringing it back. It is not only a super cute pattern which you can make for gift-giving, and to sell at fairs, etc., but it is also a wonderful little gift to give to your customers as a thank you for a referral, for example. It can also be used as a stocking stuffer or a surprise grab-bag little gift for showers or even as a wedding favor!

If you use these to give to customers at fairs, etc., you can add a plastic tag to the ring which will remind them of your business every time they use the key ring. If you use them as a wedding favor, the names of the bride and the groom and the date of the wedding can be added in a tag. This has many possibilities for a creative and ingenious mind!

The great thing about this pattern is that I don't use the regular methodology for pull tab crochet. I discovered something that will really be helpful to you if you want to do this type of crochet in other directions.

The way to make these butterflies, will give you the basics to be able to later on make belts, bags, coasters, you name it! (And faster than you would with the regular mode of working the tabs!) So when you are ready to graduate from the butterflies, you'll have a practical base to do other things. That is the genius of this pattern!
